Synopsis
The Emmy Award-winning ladies of Wisteria Lane have even sharper fangs in the juicy fourth series of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, a primetime soap opera that takes aim at the dark side of suburban life. The fourth installment revolves around the return of Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delaney), a one-time neighborhood resident with an abusive past that she can never fully escape. Katherine joyfully reunites with her old friend, Susan (Teri Hatcher), who is unexpectedly expecting, but immediately clashes with Bree (Marcia Cross), who is pretending to be pregnant so that she can soon raise her teenage daughter's child as her own. Meanwhile, Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) cancer creates obstacles in both her marriage and her friendships, and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) continues to fight with Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) over Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira). Welcome to my all new DVD which, as the name suggests, is all about thrills at the wheel. Aston Martin’s gentleman thug, the DBS, takes on its rivals from Italy. The lightweight Lamborghini Superleggera battles it out on the track with Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia and my test of the best takes me to the breathtaking roads of the Swiss Alps, the no limits German autobahn – and, er, Norfolk. I swap racing overalls for camouflage uniform to join the Marines at the controls of an all-terrain Viking before using its machine gun to shoot a Lexus…in the face.

The 200 mph Porsche 911 turbo struts its stuff in its natural habitat – the autobahn. And I get a lungful of turbocharged fresh air from the 240 mph Pagani Zonda Roadster F. Then there’s the rocket science – Clarkson-style – as I fit a Porsche 944 with rocket launchers (they only look like drainpipes wrapped in silver foil). I also blast fireworks at a speed camera and have a bit of an accident with a double-decker bus. I drop a 7-tonne diesel engine on to a Highways Agency traffic-womble car – doing my bit to tidy the roads…while creating the world’s fastest diesel. Plus I’m joined by tame racing driver The Stig who gets a big surprise – as do you when you see what he likes to do with sheep. And everything else explodes.

Synopsis
BIG BROTHER gets a NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD makeover in horror spin-off DEAD SET. The action takes place during a fictional series of the reality TV show, with stories unfolding both on camera in the 'house' and with the staff behind the scenes. When a zombie outbreak occurs the contestants are blissfully unaware inside their secure little bubble, a bubble which soon becomes a fortress when outsiders seek refuge from the walking undead. Inevitably, the infection spreads into the 'house', turning the popularity contest into a scene of carnage, with cast and crew uniting to escape the ultimate 'eviction'.

Jaime Winstone (KIDULTHOOD) stars as production-runner in peril Kelly, with Andy Nyman (SEVERENCE) as hotheaded producer Patrick, Kevin Eldon (HYPERDRIVE) as a disgruntled housemate, and even a surprise appearance from Davina herself. The innovative show is the creation of writer and cult television satirist Charlie Brooker (SCREENWIPE, NATHAN BARLEY) so be prepared for some dark humour, as pop-culture turns zombie and feeds on its own kind.

Synopsis
The music of the Rolling Stones has lit up the soundtrack to so many Martin Scorsese films ('Gimme Shelter' has appeared in no less than three of his features--GOODFELLAS, CASINO, and THE DEPARTED) that it's little surprise to find the director teaming up with the legendary rockers for this concert recording. SHINE A LIGHT begins with a few glimpses of the preparation that went into the recording of the show, which was staged over two nights at New York City's Beacon Theatre in 2006. Scorsese also includes some candid footage of the Stones doing a pre-show meet-and-greet with guests Bill and Hillary Clinton, which highlights some of the different personality traits in the band. Keith Richards and Ron Wood are the clowns, always goofing around; Mick Jagger is the consummate professional, always polite to a fault; Charlie Watts caries a real air of dignity, as befits someone who enjoys a dual career as a noted jazz musician.
The bulk of the movie is dedicated to the multi-camera shoot at the Beacon, which captures the Stones playing some of their biggest hits and a few lesser-known numbers. Special guests such as Jack White, Buddy Guy, and Christina Aguilera are ushered on at various points in the show, and the concert footage is broken up by some amusing vintage footage of the band. By using so many cameras, Scorsese captures a side of the Stones that is rarely seen, such as Watts turning to camera and puffing out his cheeks and Richards offering encouraging words to Jack White as he exits the stage. SHINE A LIGHT provides a welcome glimpse into the Stones' world at this advanced stage in their career, and continues Scorsese's obsession (see also NO DIRECTION HOME and THE LAST WALTZ) with documenting some of the most influential characters in rock and roll.
